The Disney Channel has been putting together country music singers for a new project called Country Sings Disney. Set to release on July 8, the album will feature popular country music singers and songs from Disney films from past and present including The Little Mermaid and Cars.
Being a bit too old to follow anything Disney other then the headlines, I have noticed that they are pushing their teen inspired music groups and shows. Everyone likes music and a whole bunch of kids to adults like country music singers for their down home, non-explicit lyrics and Disney has been banking off it.
Female music artists like Faith Hill, Miley Cyrus, Alison Krausee and Marine McBride will be featured on the album along with Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw and Ray Cyrus. Sheryl Crow’s Real Gone from Cars was redone by Cyrus for the album. There are 15 songs on the compilation album that I expect will do very well on release due to the long list of country music singers.
